Falls can have a serious impact on an older adult’s confidence, mobility, and independence. At DROM Fitness, fall-prevention training focuses on improving strength, balance, coordination, and everyday movement to help older adults move more safely and confidently. By working on these areas before a fall occurs, seniors can reduce their risk of injury and maintain the independence they value.

Focus on improving stability

At DROM Fitness, fall-prevention training focuses on building the strength, balance, and stability older adults need for everyday movement. Exercises target key muscle groups—especially the legs, hips, and core—to help improve posture, walking, and the ability to move more safely and confidently.

Sessions may also include coordination and mobility exercises that help older adults improve body awareness, reaction time, and confidence with everyday movement. Controlled movements such as stepping, turning, and shifting weight are practiced safely and adjusted to each person’s abilities and comfort level.

We incorporate balance tools

We incorporate balance tools such as stability balls, resistance bands, and supportive equipment to safely challenge and improve equilibrium. Each exercise can be modified for chair support, walkers, or limited mobility when needed.

Through consistent training, clients often experience improved confidence, safer movement at home, and a reduced fear of falling. Our goal is to help seniors move through daily life with greater security, strength, and peace of mind.
